Submarine is sinking

Sadly, the HTPC Submarine (mentioned previously) is having cooling issues again.  The CPU heatsink cooler is now rubbing against the underside of the Blu-Ray Drive and making a noise.  I tried to put a shim between the two but then it starts turning off and I think there’s a cooling issue because the CPU reports 100° C and the cooler is VERY hot.

A fast look determines that there isn’t a good way to fit in another cooler.  It’s just too cramped to get an air CPU cooler.  With a closed loop water cooler, it would fit better but I need to put a 120mm fan someplace.  It might barely fit to the side, but it’s too thick to have a 27mm cooler and a 25mm fan (for a Corsair H60).  I could put it on the top, but then I would need to put a hole into the top of the case with a dremel or drill.

I like the computer enough to spend some money and time getting it back into shape.  I may also get rid of the Blu-Ray Drive because I’ve yet to use it and it takes up valuable space that I need for a cooler…
