BroBots

For the Phoenix Squadron Championship tournament, I’m playing BroBots or Tempest TIE Advanced with Accuracy Correctors and Cluster Missiles.

For most matches, I think I’m going to play BroBots because I’m most familiar with them.  I’m playing near symmetrical IG88-B/C with Expert Handling, Mangler Cannon, IG-2000, Fire-Control System, and Autothrusters.  The only difference is B has Cluster Mines and C has Conner Net.

I’m testing out the bombs because sometimes I want to run away but can’t without giving away free shots.  The bombs give the ships a way to keep the opponents from following while I disengage.

If I was more familiar with the TIE Advanced squad, I think it could be very good.  The Cluster Missiles/Accuracy Corrector punch could easily take out many lists.  My only concern is I’ve never flown the pinwheel formation before and thus I have a feeling it would result in many bumps and they need those actions in the early game to get in and make full use of the cluster missiles.
